Esther graduated cum laude from the University of Ottawa, Faculty of French Common Law, focusing on Indigenous, constitutional and criminal law. Prior to law school, she completed a Bachelor of Arts in French and First Nations studies at Simon Fraser University.

Esther previously worked for Crown-Indigenous Relations and Northern Affairs, where she handled land submissions for the Additions to Reserve Section and drafted legislation to streamline reserve creation. She also worked for the Department of Justice comparing and analyzing bail conditions across Canada.

During law school, she completed internships at both the Department of Justice as a criminal sentencing policy analyst and at Human Rights Internet (HRI) as an Aboriginal case law researcher. In these roles, Esther worked extensively on restorative justice and public policy.

Esther completed her Articles at Westaway Law Group and is excited to offer her legal services in both French and English.
